SWEET CELL

Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke

Notice of absence from Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke
I will surely get back to you when I come online.

I can't resist it
For long I have been into it
The pleasure, so painful sweet
Even though we both sweat.

I got this anointing, long ago
Though it threatens my ego
Hostel my cell of comfort
Even in the pleasure, I feel discomfort.

My mouth tries to open up
But mum too busy to look up
I became deeply imprisoned
Only if I had reasoned.

Cajoled to hate the trousers
Memories of heart breaks, a browser
Today, caged in this cell
A business that secretly sell.

This french kiss is deep
I desire it, quicky so lip,
Shamelessly I care less
On the bed, I'm helpless.

Judge not my situation
For all I need is salvation
Ekwensu the initiator of this albatross
Prayers my lead to the Cross.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem reflects on lesbianism and lust of the flesh. Many people find themselves in unexplainable addiction, some learnt it at will, while others learnt theirs by peer group influence. Though caught in the web of sinful addictions, some of these people maybe were parentally neglected when they needed help most. Parents should learn to listen to their children, they may have something troubling to tell them, especially when they need help.
