Poets don't speak like anyone else
They think it through
Will it rhyme
Will it carry a message for you
Do you want to befriend them
Or leave them alone and blue
Do their feelings mend or
Leave everyone without a clue
Poets don't look at the sky
They look in the mirror
Poets don't pray in secret
They dance with shame and fear.
