lost forever

fire_fly

Light breeze, such a lovely evening

His hand in my hand, tracing patterns

The city has gone dark except for the light of the lanterns

and here I was looking into his eyes, star gazing

He asked me if I was lost and I told him

"Is it even possible, to be lost

in your emerald green eyes ?", he grinned

I could’ve melt at that moment, almost

The night envelops us in her tight embrace

We could admire the stars glow up in space

but in my opinion, I’d rather

stay lost in his beautiful eyes forever.

A lovely romantic offering. Emerald green eyes, sound inviting. Nicely composed.
