The Day I Left

Nilanjana Singh

I almost had you, felt the spark,
But fear whispered in my ear,
The fear of you leaving, tearing apart,
The fragile bond we held so dear.
But that fear, it died the day I chose,
To walk away before you could,
I left the love we almost knew,
For something more solid, something good.

oh yes the day that i left and moved onto whats better
you can keep all i gave you and my favorite sweater
you can keep all the time that ill never get back
you can keep what you want but just give me some slack
no i dont want a goodbye not till death do we part
but the one thing i ask is to give back my heart

The Day I Left I Was Angry.
Lonely, Now Keeps Me Company. I'm Empty.
Enemy, U R My Enemy Now. What Happened 2 "We"?
"She Did It!" Is All I, @ Times, Know & Remember.
Hunger. I Still Hunger 4 U & That Brings Forgiveness.
Brightness Ov Tenderness, Touching U.
U & I. I Want U Back, I Want 2 Forget All About The Day I Left.
