The Beach

THE GOAT

I love the Beach

the warm breeze

from the seven seas

oh yes please

I love the Beach

the sock that were once dandy

now dirt filled and sandy

the laughter substitutes the brandy

I love the Beach

the water ice cool

the salt unlike the pool

a man who hate the beach is a fool

I love the Beach

reconciling the child I once was

like a dream like facade

oh I love the beach a lot

  • Comment from author about the poem: as a new poet on this site, I thought of things I enjoy and the beach was the first thing that came to mind. So I felt I should make a short poem detailing my love for the beach
