Before off you go flying

Emperor

Hanging by a thread

The sanity I can hold

I try to be truthful

If only I was bold

I have so much to say

But my courage is dying

Give me some more days

Before off you go flying

The hurt is heavy to hold

And hollow are the days

Thoughts are stuck on you

If only I could say

You will leave regardless

And either way I'll regret

I will distract myself

But I cannot forget

I know you will return

I know I will wait

Maybe you'll love another

Whatever's written in our fate

Maybe the next time we meet

Maybe then you will stay

Maybe you'll say those words to me

The words I've been wanting to say
