BUILDING THE NATION

Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke

Notice of absence from Jude Chukwuemeka Muoneke
I will surely get back to you when I come online.

I took a tour to Egypt,
To know the secrets behind Egypt,
We toured from place to place,
Learning the wits and witchcrafts of the pace.

Suddenly a voice trends on the media,
Calling me names like 'stingy man' in the media,
The videos and audios have gone viral like viruses,
Spreading my good news like viruses.

Religion the opium of the people,
I'm glad my deeds and doings lie with the people,
If really I wronged him, why not put a call?
As Catholics, we share the same faith to the core.

In my move in Building the Nation,
For a New Nigeria as a Nation,
My people put spoke in my wheel;
Trying to truncate my goodwill.

Today I'm tagged 'Stingy'
Because I refused to give shishi to a clergy to be clingy,
This same voice tagged Goodluck, Badluck;
And today we are enjoying the prophecies of his badluck.

Mad men are now involved in politics,
Umahi and Kalu are playing safe in politics,
A stingy man is holier than a thief,
We will Build a New Nigeria without mischief.
