Yearning

mtrotter1

Run with me

To the middle of nowhere,

That's how desperate I'm supposed to be!

As I tear up the pages of an important book

And burn them on the table,

I realize that I am not able

To go on like this

For the whole house could burn down

Then where would I live?

For this is thrillingly painful

The life that we live

Me and you should make a run for it, I promise

Are you afraid that I will die before you?

Or are you just scared of taking a risk?

For a risk is everything I need

To be happy again

Trust me, I don't want to do this neither

But we can be happy

Just me and you

And the trees can hide our pain in such weather

Let me see your heart once again

And I yearn for you

To see my heart once again

Just as it is

For no one understands me and my intense feelings

Dare I say I am offended?

For I want to die in secret fear

Of one day knowing

That I am alive;

Thank you for noticing me

Eventually I will see you again

Running away from your problems

As I do mine

And thank you for the tears

And thank you for the fears

Hopefully one day we will meet again

Loving life as always,

Always and forever

Me and you

Much love

Forever and ever

Can we get rid of this sickness again?
