A jewel-blue stream flows by
Under the sky’s blue watch
Brings the memories back
A sequin star shines bright
Dawn’s light approaching fast
Echoes in the trees fade

- Comment from author about the poem: This is an acrostic poem from the beautiful word aubade, which means a poem appropriate to the dawn or early morning. The word has six letter, so I wrote the poem with six syllables in each line.
