Early Morning Again

Thoughtless

Early morning again. The household rattles with movement as the lights awaken in the darkness. Moans of opening eyes and lifting of numb extremities from hypnotic slumber.

Laughter emerges from one chamber, "What a dream!"

No little ones to worry about anymore.

The sleepers aroused from their morning zombiehood by the aroma of coffee rush to the land of hotcakes, eggs, and bacon after donning their armor for the day.

Hugs are carried as those soldiers leave to carry on at their desks, steering wheels, and tech centers. Don't forget those in the trades.

The XO of this home’s motley crew sighs back to an earned hot cup and  daily dose of the morning show.

A fitting tribute to the necessaries of a common day. Nicely written with great images.
