DIFFERENT

nephilim56

Its so different
In falling daylight
When the night
Has faded away.

Hours tumbled
From my reach
Now youre gone
Unable to stay.

Could I have saved you
In a moment
Harnessed and caught
Your burning flame ?

Or was our fate
To lose you early
In the vastness
Without blame ?

Treasured moments
Fading flower
Upon lifes trellis
Stars go by.

Sun and moon
Observing planets
An ever watching
Celestial eye.
