Take your life back

Michael William Reid

I fought darkness and I won

I replaced the nighttime with the sun

Step by step till I was through

I knew exactly what to do

Just keep on fighting, standing tall

And now I stand above it all

I stand here just looking back

At how I put my life on track

I have seen the darkness of my hell

But I stand here strong to tell

Never stop fighting pushing through

If time is right you'll know what to do

Fight your demons push them back

Wrench your life back onto track

Take your life make it your own

Then reap the seeds that you have sown

So heed my story heed it well

This is the reason I will tell

If I can do it you can too

Take your life and begin anew
