Selfish love

Hooli

I want to love someone selfishly

Unabashedly

I want to love them endlessly

Impossibly

Just them.

no one else.

They would be my everything.

And I say selfish, because, I wouldn’t want a family.

No kids, no family. Just them.

I’d only want to love them.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem to me, signifies a hopeless romantic, which I very much am. But it’s more than that, it’s that other world, where you get lost in the moment. It’s the desire for that all the time. A dream, but an impossible reality.

How simple life would be but also how powerless one would be. A great write of love simplified.
