Can't explain

I lie in bed, trying to sleep,
And hear whispers, every night, like on repeat,
Random sentences,
I'm tired of this restlessness,
Or random images pop into my eyes
Like something in disguise,
Something I can't explain,
Is it a beach? 
Looks like sand,
I open my eyes and it's gone,
If I keep my eyes close it stays, but I still can't explain.
