O foolish bird

Farheen Naz Tariq

O foolish bird, do not love

Love is just a colorful web

Son of Adam by whose help

will catch you

Take in the fist

 Your heart will melt

You'll sing beautiful songs for him and his love.

But he will break your wings

And don't you dare to think

 That after destroying you

He will hold you close to his chest.

Rather with old household goods

Will throw you in a corner

And you will be in such a state as

Someone with a knife on your neck

Cut your throat in half and

throw away

Such would be the agony

That you will not be able to live

Nor die

You want to scream

But the sound will not come out

Love is nothing

It's just a golden cage

Which

A bird like you is meant to be trapped.

    Love it

What a great metaphor that love is just a golden cage in which you are trapped. Lovely

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
