A Young Woman

Cassaundra 40

Sometimes I feel like this is all a dream, I close my eyes for a moment, and when I open them back up, I no longer see my little girl, but a young woman standing in front of me. A young woman who is beautiful, kind, funny, and loving, a young woman who I am proud of.

You have turned into a brave young woman, that  is brilliant, enthusiastic, who deeply cares, with courage, and compassion. I see a young woman who hurts sometimes, but takes that hurt and turns it into an oppertunity, uses that hurt as  stepping stones to success.

My love for this young woman , my daughter, my friend is one of the strongest loves a mother can have. As the mother of this young woman standing before me, wishing she can see, what I see through my eyes. A beautiful young woman who is loved, and adored by many.

For what it is all worth, I hope you live a long life, that you can one day be proud off. A life of courage, adventure, happiness, and love. I know as you get older, and decisions will start becoming your own, you will look back at your childhood, wondering how it all slipped away from you so fast. Where did time go?

I hope that one day you will look back, and remeber all that I did, have, and will always do for you. I will miss that little girl you once were, and cherish the moments. I will cherish the moments with the young woman you have become. I will always be here for you no matter where life takes you. Im proud to be on this journey with you and im proud to be your mom. I love you with all my heart.
