Say I Can Make It

Mason Vollman

Say I can make it,

Say I can see,

I can't do this without you,

Your reassurance for me.

Everything is the same,

Without you life is plain,

And now your moving away?

Say I can make it!

Because without you I can't.

I'm not faking it,

There's just no point to stand.

Say I can last at least a week without you,

Without somthing to live for,

The hell I'd go through.

Say I can do this,

Say you'll be there.

Say I can survive,

Without you being right here,

Say I can make it,

I'm showering in tears.

Say you'll be here,

When the thunder strikes.

Say you'll be here,

When the fires hit.

Say you'll be here,

When the worlds a fight.

Say I can make it,

Say I can see,

Say you'll be here,

Because distance is my fear.

Being away from that one special person can make life so very challenging. Your poem tells me that. Nicely composed.
