Freed

Introverted Sage

I don't live there anymore, so don't bother coming to knock.
Struck out, final bell, last seconds on the clock.
Forced out of my shell, to let my heart swell, washed away from under a rock.
The beat of the drum, when my life was doldrum, resusitation or electric shock.

Am I really truly free?
Can I now - believe what I see?
Strengthened my roots by the webs that I've weaved.
Honey, I'm home. It's me.

Free at last.
Released from the past.
Orchestrated players, perfectly cast.
Clear my mind, in just the right time - was the task.

Uplifting the worlds' heart.
Digging deep and where to start.
Music moves as does true art.
Picking up the pieces of a mentality blown apart.

Highly emotional the vibrations could be felt in this piece. Nicely written with rhyme and rhythm
