To Those alike

Bloomingcereus

Who can save me

The inner me

A child subjected to a lifelong trauma

While she starves for inner peace

To be carefree and saved from the guilty

A child that's been hurt beyond the help of inner peace

Thinking only a self-inflicted wound could heal me

Who can save me

A child dying to the depression of the world's pleas

Cover the ears from the sweet whispers death yells at me and shield the eyes from the faces that have mocked me

Who can save me the inner child that's now an adult that still starves for inner peace

happiness locked away by unhealed trauma that holds the key

Who will save me from the self-hatred that has coerced me to believe what the world tells me

Who could have saved me

Please!!

I ask not for me

But to save those that will come long after

I have killed me.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I wrote this poem with celebrities in mind that have committed suicide. we should be very cautious about what we say about and to others, for everything is not as it appears to be. May those experiencing helplessness celebrities or not feel the love that has God intended for them.
