OM

Davyson F Santos

Life lasts as long as a breath
Before the timeless reality
The ancestral arises
The primal sounds

Comfort yourself, traveler!
What you see is just a mirage
The nameless one journeys
Your body is the carriage

Surrender to the infinite
All that is impermanent
Open your heart of stone
Let your mind find rest

Let the light flow
With no other name but love
In your innermost being, it blooms
And the eternal-flower dies

What you think you possess
Is merely borrowed
In the impermanence where you dwell
Everything is transformed

The infinite lasts a moment
In it, all things pass away
What is, was, and will be,
Is only today, only today...
