Message To The Human Race

Mason Vollman

Wanna be real or wanna be fake?

Wanna squeal for a deal?

Wanna steal for a meal?

Seal your faith,

Or seal your fate,

You fake, fake real,

You real, real fake.

Wanna fake it till you make it,

You were always made to be fake,

Russian roulette with your life,

Never true-to-life,

Playing cards,

You portrayed it and mastered it,

Wanna be larger than life,

But you living a Mid life,

Crisis got you overcompensating,

Making irrational decisions,

Thinking you real trife,

Mid life games and artificial missions your life,

I stay true-to-life to the wildlife,

Conformity ain't the norm for me,

Pro-life or pro-knife,

What's it gonna be?

Wanna be real or wanna be fake?

Wanna squeal for a deal?

Wanna steal for a meal?

Seal your faith,

Or seal your fate,

You fake, fake real,

You real, real fake.

Gotta eat by any means,

Stay wide awake,

Play both sides for the coins eating crab cake,

No shame when the world feeds off snakes,

Stakes are high from the soul,

Living in the matrix without a Neo-soul,

Thinking green dreams gonna equal a queen,

Staying beyond reproach getting pouched,

You fell for the hook, line, and sinker,

Now you want to sink her,

You got no real faith being fake,

Deal or no deal, your life sealed.

Wanna be real or wanna be fake?

Wanna squeal for a deal?

Wanna steal for a meal?

Seal your faith,

Or seal your fate,

You fake, fake real,

You real, real fake.

That's why they don't forgive me when I fail to answer the social reply to, "How are you?" I just ignore it because they do not want the real answer.

So true! We so trained to say were fine, when were lying. Thanks!

Most people are more fake that real to get what they want or impress. Nicely done

"Pro-life or pro-knife" kind of sums it up, decides where you stand. Good work.

Your words reflect some of the reality of life. However, whenever there is an action, there is always a reaction to contradict it.
But I remain optimistic my friend.
A good write, I enjoyed reading it.

This truly is the definition of an emphatic piece Mason Vollman!

Such a wonderful flow, that streams the sad reality, that humanity chooses to be life's design.

I can imagine you "spitting these bars" in a poetry slam or a rap battle, to which, you have both my clicks and cheer mate!

Bravo, and I hope that all is well.

      • Mason Vollman
