Raw emotion
is windows without curtains
Raw emotion is raspy
and anguished
Raw emotion is painful
plaintive, sweet and sensitive
like a pierced nipple
Raw emotion is a craving
and a love stitched
behind a human collar
coming undone at the seams
Raw emotion is a catch
a hook, a grip
and a firm rip that scatters
buttons on the floor
