Like you used to

Vishakha

Nothing, just wanted to get embraced

Missing those days and the way you praised

Just that one time and you confessed, "I wanna chase"

As if no one and only you were in a daze

So come after me

Still, when I no longer ask

Your lingering thoughts with me

And the way you laugh

  • Comment from author about the poem: Honestly, I have zero experience when it comes to relationship. But, now that I think about it, I think, the one harbouring the feelings at this moment for someone, who used to do back at that very first time could relate to this. It can be in the terms of regret and longingness.
