A Girl Named Autumn

Tayama

You left us earlier today…

I only met you a few brief times…

That first time, it was so hot, and you were wavering…

In the heat he held you, until you had to sit…

I did not know you were not well…

You were like a waif, ever so fragile…

He looked over at me, and I knew then, he was in love with you…

Then the world changed a brief time later, as we all did…

Contact lost is ones forgotten…

Yet I found a picture of both of you during that time…

In it he was smiling so brightly, something he rarely ever did…

He was a giant next to you…

You were looking up at him and I knew…

You loved him too…

I am sorry for his pain…I am sorry for yours too…

Did you both find solace and peace when you intertwined the two?

You bought a house…I never knew…

I will see it soon, to comfort him, for you are now gone…

Unlike him, I know where you are now, and your pain is truly gone…

His? Only deeper for he has lost you…

Now does he break over you?

I will care for him, I promise you…

We were related. Yet never knew, that we both loved him, yet I never had the chance to love you to…

I will try to bring him home…

For a beautiful young girl, I never really knew. But now I do love you, for you chose to love him to…

My boy, my beautiful boy…

Pray for him, pray for me, we will see you again…

Until then…

Please whisper to him each night as he closes his eyes…” I love you, please love again.”

Then for you, in the fall when the leaves turn golden, I will smile for you, a girl named “Autumn” that for a moment in time, loved my precious boy.

Thank You…For now I know, the angel with the golden hair watches over him and forever we will know, “the pain of your love is his blessing, for you are with our Father and you have let him go.”
