lie to my face

fire_fly

Just lie to my face,

tell me that together we’re great,

that it’s only the course of fate,

that you just need some space

You panicked when your cover blew

asking our friends to pick sides

But deep down, i already knew:

behind every angel's face, a devil hides

You just made a hole in my heart

but i’ll smile like it was nothing

Our world might be falling apart

i’ll be there if you need a saving

Just lie to my face,

or finally admit it to me

before i die of agony:

you were never mine in the first place.
