a little insane

Maplespal

As the sun fell last night,

darkness replaced the light.

With street lights above their heads,

the shadows woke from their beds.

Porch lights untimely illuminated.

The ground let out the heat it accumulated.

The temperature slowly cooled to a rest,

most people lay down for dreams to ingest.

Last night the sun went to earths other side.

People are waking for the first morning ride,

the sun came back to warm this of our days.

Up all night writing trying to figure what to say.

The life of a writer that is a little bit insane.

all this will be repeated over and over again.

A little insanity can lead to some really good things, point in fact this poem; rhyming, timing, absolutely shining. Loved it!
