A confession

Neilton

Out of a sudden

Exploring the world

Doesn't matter

Unnecessary, I confess

Afraid to say it to anyone else

Living alone

Once a childhood dream

A lonely goal now I see

Guilts of letting you go

Leaving behind a love so deep

Making new friends

To be surrounded with girls

Girlhood at its best

Qualms of making you feel less

Qualms of you feeling abandoned and alone

Teenage love

Boys and their seraphic face

Crestfallen with their behavior

You worth much more

I want to show you my love

Studying abroad

Achieving life goals

Nugatory without you, my love

Who am I when you are gone ?

I have a presentiment about your soul

Visiting my favorite place

A feeling forever changed

Knowing I Left you behind

I fear you will evanesce

Because of your reticence

The cessation of my dreams

Doesn't matter when I grief

Unnecessary in front of you

You are the king of your dreams

The most gleaming diamond I have ever seen

To you I confess

I would make the earth stop

If it meant you realized your worth

And that your feelings are not a weakness

But the sign of a leader

  • Comment from author about the poem: Another poem about my favorite person ,my brother with whom I share such a strong bond! I wrote it when I had to go to my village and I felt guilty for leaving him alone because he had some pretty rough days !

Such a powerful and wonderful write Neilton, the fact that this poem is also autobiographical, it makes it even more compelling.

Though you have written this in a painful yearning tone, I do hope that you and your brother still hold on to happy memories, and are able to create new ones very soon.

Bravo, and I hope that all is well.
