Lake Misty

Tayama

In the meadow by lake Misty

I kissed you for the first time, Kristy.

As our lips parted, we both trembled.

And your eyes stayed closed to seem to savor the moment.

And through the veil of love, you were my atonement.

For you came to me from thee

For my eyes to see

That in love we find what we did not know lived.

A child of God, to forgive

Ourselves so we may live.

Basking in the light of love

For you are my dove

And granted me what I could never believe I was worthy of

Pure and unconditional love
