So I'm writing you a song

Sneha Sebastian

So I'm writing you a song

Playing my guitar

rooftop, a moon and thousand stars

I should’ve gone to the bar

But here I am, my hand full of scars

Sad melody ? Again

My inner voice says “ nothing’s fine”

is it because of my migraine

Or the thought that you are not mine

I don’t wanna hurt myself this time

Instead I'm writing a song that rhymes

So if you’re gonna leave

Leave before I ask you to stay

Coz I'm starting to believe

Believe that this feeling isn’t parting away

Even though my heart is a big mess

Even though I'm always anxious and stressed

There’s a hidden love that I didn’t express

trust me I’m  afraid to confess

so I'm writing  you a song

Read it, even though it sounds long

do you wanna be my home?

The heart where I can finally belong

if you can heal the hearts

Let me give you mine

You may see broken parts

But I guess that’s fine

Writing a song or a poem as far superior to injuring one self in some other way. Nicely written.
