Burrow

Leoue

For some, sadness burrows deep.
Takes root in their very soul.
They do not show it.                                                          Or at least they try.                                           They are kind.
They are funny.                                                                      They are warm.   But inside, inside there is a chasm.
So vast it might never be filled.

An emptiness that leaves them clutching their chest.

                                                 Like it hurts.                 It does.

In their solitude they feel it.
                                                    Aching.
