Seems like we were lovers in another
life
An amaranthine love impossible to
find
Your dazzling eyes were like
sunshine
When my fears came you held me
tight
You squeezed my hand and said it's
alright
You wiped my tears and whispered at night:
"I know it's arduous but you're strong so fight!"
" In every struggle and pain I'll be by
your side"
"I shall wait till you're ready to call you
my wife"
You caressed my cheek and wished me
goodnight
If there were thoughts of your words being lies
You showed with actions of pure
delight
You read my poems with the proudest smile
You supported my crazy goals every
time
You loved my cats and everything that was mine
I cried and you wiped my tears
away
You held my heart so careful as not to
break
When dark thoughts conquered my
brain
You tried your best to get me out of that place
You knew my past experiences,every detail
You understood my anger and why I wished to isolate
You never judged my looks you thought I was like a fairy
You knew my worries and how to
commiserate
We went to church every
Sunday
You knew exactly my beliefs , why I'm
afraid
So you said :"God exists,you must have faith"
Your faithful words and laugh erased my pain
The only person I never wanted to give
away
We worked as a team and we bonded
apace
We found people's opinions funny in every way
We knew that only together we will
age
As for our adventures you knew how to appreciate
Our moments in green valleys always
Devine
Animals and nature hiking left us
mesmerized
We laughed for hours under the starry
sky
We run for fun and never rushed our
life
We talked and fought yet we always aligned
Our amaranthine love was one of a
kind
"Elusive and treasured"in people's
mind

I'm stuck on amarathine - saying 'good write' but not knowing what amaranthine is! lol.
Haha! I get it I had no idea ,too! I wanted to write something about a timeless love that never fades and lasts forever ! But I wanted something you know poetic and something better than timeless .So I looked it up and I found amaranthine which has 3 meanings!
1) amaranth flower:an imaginary flower that never fades ,never withers .There is a actually a flower called amaranthus and it lasts for ages even if you cut it !!
2)it's a colour like dark reddish purple
3) and you can you use for love like everlasting unfading loveliness
I found this word very very interesting because it comes from where I come from! In Greece we say amarantos for something that never withers!
