If you miss me

domilla

If you miss me,

Look for me in those pages

In bards sonnet 18, where loves beauty is laid in verses.

Looking for a way to compare you to a summers day,

Your radiant sun-kissed smile , which never fades.

Perhaps lost in nerudas words,

I could be that plant that doesn’t bloom,

And with you is the light from that flower.

This is how I love,

This is how I  know that it is love,

Because it is you I miss every hour.

You will find me lost,

My heart like a campus needle , always points to you

Trying to connect to your heart,

It feels like it’s tortured when we are apart.

You will find me stuck on tv screens,

Watching the plays of those love scenes,

Looking for a love as true as ours,

I will be the one repeating their lines,

“I want to spend eternity with you.”

You will find me lonely, missing you too,

You will find me restless looking forward to see you.

You will find me in the memories made,

And the ones we are yet to make,

You will find me in the dreams left to chase.

You will find me longing for forever with you.
