Fictional real love

poemsoul

She said to her friend

I fall for a fictional man

 that I can never have

but God has some other plan

this time fictional fallen in love

In reality,with real women

Every time she started talking about him,

He just listens carefully with his tilted head

And wondering oh god why can't I have this women

He stares at her in his way whenever she watches him on the tv screen

And again and again he found multiple reasons to fall in love with the same person millions of times

Still trying hard to do eye contact with her whenever she switched off the TV

Screaming inside loudly no baby don't make me go that easily

Apparently that's why Jane Austen never married, the fictional hero was so far beyond any man, she couldn't in good conscience agree to tie the knot with any of her several suitors. This is heartbreaking as the poet strives to win the object of his affection but she clings perversely to her delusions. Very beautifully rendered with a haunting poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
