night butterflies  think they're in the garden...

Sviatoslav Zhabotynskyi

night butterflies
think they're in the garden
where philosopher Skovoroda lost his virginity

grandma scatters the butterflies away
with a kerosene lamp

her speech is quiet
like the death of a hedgehog

the star takes off its clothes
and covers the children with it
so they don't see -

grandmother
takes out of the pregnant moon
a new fairy tale
