The darkness

Notice of absence from unknownfemalepoet
If you notice me offline its probably because im either working, at school, or just staring at the ceiling or reading

When darkness falls, and shadows grow,
And sadness seems to overflow,
It's hard to see the light ahead,
When all you feel is fear and dread.

But hold on tight, don't let go,
There's hope out there, I want you to know.
Talk to a friend, reach out your hand,
Together we can make a stand.

Depression is a heavy weight,
But we can beat it, it's not too late.
Take small steps, one at a time,
You'll soon see the sun will shine.

Seek help, don't face it all alone,
You're stronger than you've ever known.
Believe in yourself, you'll find a way,
To brighter skies and a better day.

Remember, you're not on your own,
There are people who care, you're not alone.
So keep on fighting, don't give in,
You'll find the strength within.
