Can there be a peaceful world?

SonamThago

A father hugging the dead body of his child,
A mother grieving the loss of a loved one,
A young girl with a broken limb,
Beautiful homes in ruins,
A nation in turmoil,
Yet, the war must continue.

For what?

For power,
For greed,
For religion,
To show one's superiority over others.

I see no strength in this than weakness.
I see no humanity in this than madness.

When will this so-called war end?
When will there be peace?
When will people live in harmony?

Can there be a world?
where a father will not have to lose a child,
where a mother will not have to grieve the loss of a loved one,
where a young girl will not have to lose a limb,
where beautiful homes can remain beautiful always,
where nations can flourish.

Can there ever be a peaceful world?
