autumn song

jim56

i heard a robin sing his autumn song to me
happy and content happy as can be
such a lovely song every note in tune
took my breath away when he began to croon

his red breast it was gleaming in the autumn sun
singing loud and clear having so much fun
then he flew away in the autumn sky
i was thinking of his song as i waved goodbye
