Paper lantern

FrasMac

Paper lantern

translucent

façade, paper thin

hides nothing.

She glows from within.

the dark moth,

wings, paper thin

lies weakened.

I rise, now and then:

she rises

shedding light on her way,

I spiral

in dance, round her flame.
