It Gets Better

Cocamedo

Frustration, keeping it all in a bottle
The glass is starting to crack
Putting in more only hurts the container
Once gone, it may never come back

Pain, a symptom of memories and moments
The physical/mental collision
Only gets worsened, when time is a factor
Not simply just from a decision

Sadness, an ocean, a mountain, a desert
Like steps taken without progression
No matter the ranges, and without some changes
It smothers you into depression

But trust and love, though hard to acquire
With no guarantee it will stay
A worthy companion, to walk through the canyon
When lost, it can show you the way
