Anxiety Creep

unknownfemalepoet

In the quiet of the night,
Anxiety creeps in, holding me tight.
My heart races, my thoughts swirl,
I feel like I'm trapped in a whirl.

The doubts and fears, they consume,
Leaving me feeling like I'm doomed.
I try to breathe, to calm my mind,
But the worry is relentless, unkind.

I feel alone, like no one understands,
As anxiety tightens its grip, like quicksand.
But I know I'm not alone in this fight,
There are others out there, seeking light.

So I reach out, I ask for help,
I know I can't do this all by myself.
Together we can face this beast,
And find a way to finally feel at peace.

So if you're struggling, feeling low,
Know that you are not alone in this shadow.
Reach out, speak up, don't suffer in silence,
Together we can find our resilience.
