A Tale Of A Teacher

Let me tell you a tale-

A tale of despair, 

A tale of hope 

A tale about a broken soul,

A tale of a Teacher -

Who helped it to cope.

There was once a soul

Who set out on a journey called 'Life'

Sometimes it was a coursing river ,

Sometimes it was a grassy meadow 

Sometimes the season was bright and jovial , and

Sometimes all light seemed to be

Hidden in gloom,consumed in shadow.

There once came a time

When everything started to go downhill 

No matter how hard it wanted to continue 

The soul just couldn't muster up the will.

One day, the soul met an elder 

" I am Teacher ", the soul heard them say

Under their help and guidance 

The soul found it's motivation again!

And just like that, 

Through the road called 'Life'

Teacher kept guiding the soul .

Teacher would often give lessons-

Lessons that teach what is Right 

When things got dark,nothing in sight -

On all such days, 

Teacher became the light.
