Us

I told him he should write poetry.
He said if he did it’d be called “us”.
Us is a beautiful word.
It seems to be the whole world right now, the moon, the music, simple days feel like a lifetime. 
A lifetime of Us.
A lifetime of souls connected.
Long lost lovers from another world finally reuniting.
Finally embracing.
Finally seeing each other.
Finally Us.
