you

Novarain

riot

                                               yell

                      cry

fall

the room is cold with nowhere to go

and your body moves ever so slow

trapped in your own cell with invisible bars

you start to notice every scar

and every itch

your body starts to twitch

pulling itself apart

squeezing the blood from your heart

and unraveling its brain

it’s you: crawling out through all that membrane

the real you
