Just a little fun
Thought it was a game.
Selling your Soul
For a little fame.
Heart full of shame
Feeling quite lame
When your card's up
There's no one else to blame
But you.
Watching the horrors
Participate in the lore or
Was it easy to turn a blind eye.
Didn't want to get left behind
Jig is up - so you want to spill your guts
Secret satanic rituals - in little straw huts.
I'll tell you what.
Every saint and sinner has a past
And the games they're playing surely
Won't last.
Control, greed - fastest way to the top.
Got a little pocket change
No reason to stop.
More than a lot.
But the true key that you're missing
With all your dark arts
True wisdom
Is bred in the heart.
We don't need a fancy machine
To get us past start.
We see through you
And your houses of false gold.
And the truth will be told.
'Cause Love maintains
The strong hold
It was those false idols
Perhaps you should have sold.
