Awakening

Natalie Heisey

In twilight's soft and silent sleep Where dreams and shadows weave an creep Stars whisper secrets in the night, Guiding us to a deep slumber's light.

In this realm where time stands still, Moonlight dances on the hill Memories and hopes collide, In sleep's embrace, there's nothing to hide.

The gentle rustle of the leaves,  A lullaby the night wind sings Cradling us in nature's rhythm ,Awakening dreams that daylight brings.

The dreams that visit in the night, Are fragments of the heart's delight  They weave a tale of joy and sorrow  Promising us a brighter tomorrow.

As dawn begins to paint our sky, The dreams of night bid us goodbye, We wake refreshed, with our energy high, Ready for the day to fly right by.
