The Blink of Innocence

gray0328

infants blink far less than adults

their eyes open to all that is

new a world full of wonder

where each moment stretches infinite

dopamine dances differently here

in tiny brains where curiosity thrives

no need to shield from life's light

they soak in all that we miss

it is not about seeing less

but living more in each second

an uninterrupted gaze fixed

on the beauty of first discoveries

their blinks are rare and precious

a mirror to their untamed hearts

each flutter a gentle reminder

to cherish the unblinking moments
