Embers in the Dark

the.silent.advocate

In the depths of night, where shadows creep, a mind begins to fray,
The silence wraps like a heavy cloak, keeping the light at bay.
Thoughts like whispers, dark and cold, swirl in a restless sea,
A storm of pain, a tempest fierce, where hope seems but a plea.

The mirror shows a haunted face, eyes vacant, void of spark,
A soul that’s lost its way to light, now wandering in the dark.
Each scar a story, etched in flesh, of battles fought and lost,
A canvas of the silent screams, the toll of heavy cost.

Yet in the bleakest, darkest hour, a flicker starts to glow,
A tiny ember, faint but fierce, that dares to break the woe.
For in the heart, a voice remains, a whisper soft yet strong,
A promise of the dawn’s first light, a place where you belong.

Hold tight to that small spark of hope, let it guide you through the night,
For even in the deepest dark, there lies a path to light.
The journey’s hard, the road is long, but you are not alone,
In every heartbeat, strength resides, in every breath, you’re home.
