Ignorant to Grace

Have I become ignorant to God’s Grace?

Sinning knowing I can be forgiven rather than not sinning in the first place,

Knowing because of the death and resurrection, my debt is already paid,

So I don't truly turn from sin because I have God’s Grace.

Have I become ignorant to God’s Grace?

The Devil says no you can be forgiven with a grin on his face,

And I listen and sin because I think I can find God later and say,

God I'm sorry please forgive me and thank you for your Grace.

Have I become ignorant to God’s Grace?

The God of the old testament would not stand for my sinful showcase,

He would smite my pride and find my disobedience an outrage,

So why now do I feel that my sin is okay, just because I have his Grace?
