Repent they say, I wonder why

Does it free me from my sins forever or just for a while

I have heard repentance is the way to the Divine Supreme Supernatural Creator 

The Omnipotent, Omnipresent great I AM

The God of Isaac, Jacob and Abraham

Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end

The one who was and is to come

Am I wrong to ask, why

Repentance is the only way to deliver my soul

Renew my mind, redeem my body and to gain full control

Repentance what should I do, should I confess to you

That my life is full of lust, pain and regrets

Adversaries that leave me broken, trapped, wounded and confused

Repentance tells me, what I should do

Should I rush to the feet of the great I AM

Asking for mercy, salvation and grace to receive a seat in The Most High heavenly place

Repentance tells me, what I should do

As we speak his grace and mercy are extended unto you and me

Should I extend my hand to receive his love, forgive and let go

Transform and change, evolve and grow

I think repentance is the way for me to be delivered, redeem and saved.
