Poetic Therapy
Come here, let me look into you.
I can see you’ve had a hard day,
boss being a dick as usual eh?
Never mind him, they all get their
comeuppance in the end.
Let me soothe that knot from your shoulders.
There, that feels good, yes?
I know, you’ll give me half an hour
to stop.
This won’t take that long.
Mmmm.
I can sense all your stresses leave.
Should we take this further?
Pour a little glass of wine.
Kick your shoes off.
I can do this all over you, all night.
You want me to?
Cool, that’s how
we should roll - you needing me,
me kneading you.
I’m joking.
You know this satisfies
me as much as you, right?
It’s the tensions of touch, the touch
of nuances;
the long, lingering surprise
of the metaphor.
There.
That’s better.
